I have been trying to make this dish for years but have never succeeded until recently.

One casual Saturday, we (Me and my Husband) picked out some pork belly in Carrefour for dinner. Without any expectations, we seasoned and threw the pork belly, skin on, into the oven. And it came out perfect. Juicy and tender with a wickedly crispy skin. Sheer coincidence? no exactly, but we were very pleasantly surprised!

The secret? It lies in the oven, temperature control, preparation.
Subsequent attempts were all successful, so we must have done something right…. Look out for the recipe and tips coming up very soooooon!

 

 

 

Getting a grip

Sometimes we forget the simple things in life that keep us sane.

Been a crazy 2 years since the last post, from graduating to finding a new home and getting married, the kitchen is the only place i find peace. =)

Attempted many new dishes and had a few breakthroughs! I will release them very soon in my blog. They include:

  4. Kimchi Chigae
  5. Vegetarian Lasagne
